Spirit pourers are often one of the fastest ways of pouring an exact amount of spirit into shot glasses or jiggers. Pouring without a spirit pourer can result in unpredictable glugs that in turn cause splashes and cost you money in wastage. A spirit pourer is simply fitted into the top of an open spirit bottle by pushing it in. When you are done with the pourer or you need to clean it, you just pull it out by hand.
The rubber cork on the pourer creates a watertight seal inside the bottle which prevents any leakage. if your spirit pourer begins to leak then the rubber cork may have started to deteriorate and it should be replaced.
