TABLE BASE SHAPES

Round and square bases

Round and square table bases reduce the effort and time needed for cleaning under and around, as they have a large foot print, this makes them ideal for busy fast food restaurants and cafes. The large base size also offers added stability when used with any size table top.

Recommended for use with:

Crop bases

If you’re short on floor space, consider using cross table bases, as chairs can be pushed under further, reducing the amount of space taken up in aisles and walkways. The cross base design means that cleaning around the base can be slightly more time consuming than a round or square base.

Our rectangular table bases require two legs, making the twin leg bases a perfect match. These legs are attached to either end of table top, providing reliable stability and allows for 4 or more chairs to be placed around.

Flip top table bases enable you to drop the table top down 90 degrees to drain water or save space when storing. This versatility is great for small cafes or bars that have outdoor seating areas, allowing the tables to be stored indoors overnight.

TABLE TOP SIZES

With the choice of Bolero or Werzalit table tops available in a range of colours, designs, shapes and sizes, our extensive range has a table top for any venue. However, before you can choose the eye-catching design that suits your dining areas, in door or out, you must first decide on what size you require. The sizes available to order are listed below:

Choosing the right size table tops depends on the area for which you are buying size, from cafe diners to patio and outdoor areas. A 600mm round table top will comfortably sit 2 people in a cafe, bar or bistro dining space, whereas a large, 800mm round table can sit at least 4 people, but will take up a lot more floor space. Learn and understand your customer base - if you find you are predominantly catering for couples, a 4 person table will rarely get used and is wasted floor space.

TIP: Consider the option of using larger tables to break up repetitive arrangements and add flow to dining areas, with lots of smaller tables to allow you to cater for any guests and occasions.

TABLE TOP SHAPE

Square tables are our most popular shape, as they can be used on their own or pushed together to suit up to any count you require. Fast food restaurants, cafes and busy restaurants will find this versatility extremely beneficial, allowing for spontaneous catering for large groups. Square tables can also be pushed flush against walls to help you make the most of your floor space, seating as many people as you can.

Round tables also offer versatility but in a different way. Round tables have the benefit of no pre-defined seating areas, allowing customers to pull up a chair to ’squish’ round. This informal adaptability means you can cater for larger groups in more social areas, such as cafes or smoothie bars, without having to move tables around.

Rectangular tables are best suited to venues that often require seating for bookings of 4 or more customers, providing practically sized seating for families and groups. Like square shaped tables, these can be pushed together to sit unusually large groups - space permitting.

TIP: When buying for your dining areas, consider choosing a variety of shapes, as a mixture of round and square table tops breaks up uniformity, creates flow and helps you cater for a broader range of customer.

With an impressive list of features, such as heat and UV resistance, seamless edge and pre-drilled underside, the Werzalit table tops are perfect for indoor and outdoor use in any cafe, restaurant, bar, bistro or pub.

TIP: We suggest considering the use of lighter coloured table tops for use in areas that are subject to direct sunlight. Our Werzalit, Durolight and Compact table tops have UV protection; however, darker designs and colours can still fade if exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
